Smoked Salmon and Fried Egg Toast
Ingredients:
- 2 slices of toast
- 3.5 ounces (100 grams) smoked salmon
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions:
- In a frying pan over low heat, fry the egg until cooked to your liking.
- Stir the sesame seeds into the fried egg (optional).
- Place a slice of smoked salmon on each slice of toast.
- Top the salmon with the fried egg.
- Garnish with sesame seeds.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Additional Tips:
For a creamier texture, spread a thin layer of cream cheese on the toast before adding the smoked salmon and fried egg.
If you like your eggs runny, cook them for a shorter amount of time. If you prefer them cooked through, cook them for a longer amount of time.
You can also use other types of bread, such as sourdough or bagel.
For a more flavorful toast, toast the bread under a broiler for a minute or two after adding the toppings.
