Herring with Lemon and Parsley

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 lemon
  • Slices of filleted herring
  • Chopped parsley

Instructions:

  • Wash the lemon thoroughly and slice it thinly.
  • Arrange the filleted herring slices on a serving plate.
  • Sprinkle the chopped parsley over the herring slices.
  • Garnish the dish with lemon slices.

Tips:

You can add other creative touches for decoration, such as:
Using slices of cucumber or tomato.
Adding black or green olives.
Using mint or coriander leaves.
Sprinkling some salt and black pepper on the herring .
herring can be served with fresh vegetable salad or tahini salad.
